The Women Neurologists Group (WNG) was founded in 2015 to connect women neurologists, provide career and personal advice, share experiences and expand their professional connections. It started off as a Facebook group where people exchanged ideas, asked questions to fellow colleagues, and shared their experiences.
The mission of the Women Neurologists Group is to foster personal and professional growth for the women in neurology, including attending physicians and trainees, by providing a platform for networking, advocacy, mentoring, and education.
To provide opportunities and resources necessary for their professional advancement.
To acknowledge and promote the women leaders in varied career paths for women.
To nurture collaboration and build strong connections for advocacy for inclusion and diversity.
